Kendal mounted a second half comeback, recovering from 13-0 down before defeating bottom of the table Birkenhead Park 24-13.
The Black & Ambers who picked up their second league win of the season put on two contrasting performances throughout the game, struggling in the first half before a much better second half saw the team pick up a crucial two points in their quest to pull away from relegation trouble.
